When the temperature is detected to be low, the unit initiates an automatic defrost cycle to prevent frost buildup and related issues. During this process, the compressor temporarily stops while the fan continues to operate, allowing the frost to thaw. Once the defrost cycle is complete, the dehumidifier resumes normal operation. This feature conserves energy and helps extend the lifespan of the unit
